I am Dr. Dutta, holding degrees in B.E., M. Tech. in Computer Technology, and a Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Technology from renowned universities. Over the past 19 years, I have served as a faculty member in Computer Science and Information Technology Departments at various engineering colleges and universities. Prior to my academic career, I accumulated valuable project execution experience, working for 7 years in various industrial organizations.
My dedication to education extends to roles as a visiting lecturer at IIIT, Kolkata, India guest lecturer at BITS, Pilani, India and thesis supervisor at Liverpool John Morris University, UK through Upgrad, India. Throughout the last 19 years, I have taught over 4000 students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, guiding more than 30 postgraduate students as a thesis supervisor.
I actively engage in research across diverse domains such as data mining, artificial intelligence, soft computing, multi-objective genetic algorithms, convolutional neural networks, and fuzzy logic. In recognition of my contributions, I attained the distinction of Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE). I have showcased my expertise through the publication of approximately 25 papers in esteemed international journals, book chapters, and conferences. Notably, two of my papers have been published in "Expert Systems with Applications," a journal renowned for its impact factor of 8.5 and recognition as the leading journal in the field of artificial intelligence based on h-index rankings.
My commitment to the academic community is further demonstrated by my role as a reviewer for various SCI-indexed journals published by IEEE, Springer, and Elsevier. Actively participating in numerous technical committees of international conferences, I have also shared my knowledge and insights as a resource person, delivering lectures in various courses and webinars.
